Hiring for "Cultural Fit" like this means recruiting people who share your team's values and ways of working. This approach can build happy, cohesive teams, but it can also stifle innovation and lead to bias against people who are "different," or groupthink   at the expense of new ideas.

Instead, you should try hiring for "Cultural Add." This means recruiting people who share your organizational values and bring something fresh or new to your team. It overcomes the limitations of Cultural Fit, while maintaining team cohesion.
